I have recently returned from a journey that replicates a probable journey of Sarajevo Haggadah and it was an experience of a lifetime! The tour was for my family alone and we had a great time learning about Jewish traditions of the Balkans and touring the spectacular Dalmatian coast! The company that organized the tour had so many private requests that they started a new web site dedicated to that program alone. www.sarajevohaggadahjourney.com is a beautiful web site this journey deserves. The actual book was presented to us by a curator and it was a breathtaking experience! Sarajevo is wonderful as well!

Kerrie, I'm hearing that the copies, assuming that we're talking about the same ones here, aren't going to be on parchment, they're just photos on paper. I get this from the Australian Jewish News site at ajn.com.au.

Do you know if there is one of the 613 copies of the Sarajevo Haggadah on handmade parchment in Australia? If so where? Is it available for public view? Thanks K

Being called the next DaVinci Code sounds more like aspirant optimism than anything else. It's akin to being called the next Buffy or the next Harry Potter or whatever. If the book were being spoken of as the next Bible then perhaps the suggestion might have some merit. That's a very big "perhaps" though.
